Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. He began his career with roles in such TV series as the opposite sex in 2000. After appearing in several teen films, including the 2001 film not another teen movie.
he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has appeared again in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels: wish (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the world (2010), and snowman (2013).

Evans received wider recognition for portraying Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films, from Captain America: the First Avenger (2011) to Avengers: Endgame (2019). His work in the franchise made him one of the highest paid actors in the world.

Early life
Christopher Robert Evans was born on June 13, 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in the nearby town of Sudbury. His mother, Lisa (n Ochi Capuano), is an artistic director at the Concord youth theater, and his father Bob is a dentist whose father is of Irish descent, while his mother is of Irish and half Italian descent. His parents divorced in 1999.
Evans has two sisters, Carly and Shana, and a brother, actor Scott Evans. he and his siblings were raised Catholic. Their uncle, Mike Capuano, represents Massachusetts ' 8th Congressional District.
He enjoyed musical theater as a child, attended an acting camp. He played the role of Randolph McAfee in the musical Bye Bye Birdie. He and his siblings also performed in front of relatives over birthdays, recalling that being on stage "felt like home. "Before starting his senior year of high school, Evans spent the summer in New York City, taking classes at the Lee Strasberg Institute of theater and cinema. Evans graduated from Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School in 1999. He was a classmate at Jeremy Strong's school.

Career
1997-2004: early roles

In 2004, he had a leading role in the perfect score, a teenage robbery comedy about a group of students who break into an office to steal answers to a Saturday exam. The film was critically panned; Matthew Leland from the BBC thought that Evans ' performance was "bland", and the actors had "a little chemistry". Also that year, he co-starred in the cellular thriller, along with Jason Statham, Kim Basinger, William H.Missy. Evans plays a college student Ryan, who must rescue a kidnapped woman (Basinger), after receiving a phone call from her at random. 2018 - present: post-Avengers action
In 2018, he starred in the sequel Avengers: Infinity War, and in the spring of 2019, the fourth sequel Avengers: Endgame. Charity work
Evans is a supporter of Christopher Haven, a charity that provides housing for families affected by childhood cancer, and participated in fundraising for the organization. In 2015, he and actor Chris Pratt visited patients at Seattle Children's hospital after the two bet on an eventual fundraiser for the hospital as well as Christopher haven. In May 2020, Evans organized a virtual fundraiser with the participation of the Avengers stars to benefit organizations Feeding America, meals on wheels, World Central cuisine and no hungry child. The following year, he won 80,000 dollars for Christopher haven by finishing third in the charity fantasy football tournament with his co-stars The Avengers.
